Supported by the Faculty Development Scheme (FDS) 2025/26 Exercise, Research Grants Council with reference no. UGC/FDS15/E04/25, a project team from the Department of Economics and Finance, Hong Kong Shue Yan University will conduct a two-year research project entitled “A Green Structural Efficiency Framework for New Quality Productive Forces”. The project team now seeks to appoint a high-calibre candidate for the position of Research Assistant (Full-time / Part-time) for the project.

Research Assistant (Full-time / Part-time)

The major responsibilities of the appointee will be:

• Conduct literature review, data collection and data analysis

• Assist in the compilation of research reports and other forms of deliverables

• Perform other research and administrative duties as assigned by the project team

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably with some quantitative research experience

• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese

• Mature, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

The appointment commences on 1st Jan 2026 to 31st December 2027. The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
