Offer Description
Research Objectives: (1) To develop generalised multi-physics modelling tools for Induatiral high temperature heat pumps heat exchangers that will consider material selection while accounting for modern manufacturing methods (2) The development of parametric models for multi-layer coatings arrangements using heat transfer formulations while considering interfacial features to enhance the durability and reduce the cost of heat exchanger (3) To use the models for the development of coatings and…
bonding methods that will be experimentally validated.
The primary focus of the research will be on heat exchanger components that are subject to corrosive and erosive environments.
Offer holders will be appointed as research assistants and will be required to undertake research leading to the award of a PhD by the end of the project.
