Job Posting Details

The appointee will work closely with a faculty to conduct and support empirical research. They will be required to perform specific research tasks including but not limited to identifying stock market anomalies, investigating the roles of capital market gatekeepers including short sellers and credit rating agencies, and any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a master's or bachelor's degree in economics, finance or accounting in a top-rank university. The ideal candidate should be familiar with security valuation/pricing and modern portfolio theories; be able to read/present academic literature on the capital markets; have a proactive and research mindset; and be able to work independently and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills. Candidates with experience in equity research, portfolio management and/or due diligence are preferred. (Duration: 6 months, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits will be provided where applicable.
