Organization Profile: KIIT was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with only two staff and 12 students. However, it took shape as an institution only in 1997, when degree engineering programme commenced. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta who, with no land, limited finances (only Rs. 5000/-), and little knowledge of higher education to create an institution for the benefit of the society. From these small beginnings, KIIT has developed into a leading university with a strong interdisciplinary culture and a commitment to teaching excellence.

Project Title: Anthropogenic and Geogenic Contamination of groundwater in Bhubaneswar urban catchment- A Systematic Investigation

Department: Civil Engineering

Qualification: Candidate should have passed their M.Sc (Environmental Science)/ M.Tech (Environmental Engineering)/ M.Tech (Water Resources Engineering), and M.Sc (Chemistry) with a minimum of 55% marks.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000 per month including (For out station fieldwork, when/ if required, TA/ DA will be paid as per rule.)

Duration: 10 months

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record
