Research Assistant (Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr Gloryn Chia on the development of immunotherapy strategies under a project on Advancing Immunotherapy Platforms to Overcome Tumor Resistance.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Assisting with laboratory research focused on immunotherapy and mechanisms of tumor resistance.
- Performing routine experiments and supporting the setup of new assays.
- Managing sample processing, data collection, and basic data analysis.
- Maintaining accurate experimental records and assisting with documentation for reports and publications.
- Supporting day-to-day lab operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Working collaboratively with other team members and contributing to a positive research environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Discipline:
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Research or a related life science discipline
Skills:
• Cell culture
• Molecular cloning
• Handling of animals
Experience:
Prior experience in a research laboratory setting is preferred. Familiarity with basic molecular biology and cell-based techniques will be advantageous.
