Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out research works under supervision for projects
ranging from fundamental fluid dynamics and interfacial phenomena
to biomedical and other applications
Driving research activities towards defined goals in specified
timeline
Translating research to users through commercialization
activities
Processing in data analysis and management
Drafting proposals, reports and presentations relevant to the
projects
Liaising with project collaborators and partners
Performing various laboratory administrative duties
Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the
supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A PhD degree in Chemical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering /
Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry or related engineering
fields
- Relevant hands-on experience in microfluidics and diagnostic
tool design is highly preferred
- Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievement and
strong passion in applied research of biomedical instrumentation
will also be considered as Research Assistant
- Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications;
clear and concise writing skills
- Good time management with a strong sense of responsibility and
research ethics
- Self-motivated team player who can be assertive to achieve
results, and able to work under pressure

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a fixed-term
basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory
performance and funding availability.
