Research Assistant / Research Associate (Fixed Term)

A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Dr. Jake Harris at the Department of Plant Sciences, at the University of Cambridge. The positions are part of an ERC funded project to investigate a class of histone PTM reader domain proteins and their role in chromatin and transcriptional landscapes.

We are looking for candidates with a strong track record and experience in molecular biology, (epi)genomics and bioinformatics. Experience with epi-genome engineering, CRISPR technology, cloning, proteomics, biotic stress and working with A. thaliana as a model species, is beneficial.

The position is for one year. The group is located in the Department of Plant Sciences, which is a diverse and inclusive workplace, where a wide range of plant sciences research and teaching is performed.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
