Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics (DISA), School of Computing (SoC). We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Information Systems and Analytics.

The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other laboratory members on one or more empirical research projects. The role involves supporting various stages of the research process, including data scraping and cleaning, data exploration, data analysis, and other relevant research activities such as literature reviews. Candidates with experience or strong interest in empirical research and data-driven analysis are encouraged to apply.

Job responsibilities include:

• Handle and protect confidential data with integrity;
• Assist in literature reviews, data collection, and analysis;
• Prepare data for analysis, e.g., proofreading transcripts and producing written summaries.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Comfort in reviewing and summarizing research papers
• Proficient in handling and analyzing large datasets
• Prior research experience is preferred
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
