"Research Assistant (Student)"

Job Summary

The Department of Politics, Governance, and Economics is seeking a Research Assistant to support Professor Poole with a project on the impacts of cross-border investment and technology adoption. The student is expected to perform extensive economic literature searches and summary reviews and to provide support on data analysis and descriptive statistics.

Salary Range

$17.95 - $18.20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Required Education and Experience

• Current undergraduate student with a solid understanding of International Economics
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team

Preferred Education and Experience

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence and other digital technologies, i.e., Stata statistical software
• Ability to understand the Korean language is a plus
