As a Research Assistant at Phoenix Australia, you'll play a crucial role in advancing posttraumatic mental health research, focusing on military, veteran, and high-risk populations. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to multiple projects, honing your skills in data analysis, report writing, and project coordination. This role offers you the chance to make a real impact on mental health policy and practice while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis, contribute to writing ethics applications, reports, and peer-reviewed articles.
- Support Project Coordination: Maintain participant databases, assist with recruitment, and conduct interviews or focus groups as required.
- Contribute to Knowledge Transfer: Assist in developing education programs, writing policy documents, and liaising with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate on Multiple Projects: Work across various research teams, supporting activities specific to each project.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated professional with an Honours degree in psychology or a related mental health field, possessing strong analytical and writing skills, and experience working on research projects involving military, veteran, or vulnerable populations.
You may also:
- Have an undergraduate degree with first-class Honours in psychology or a related mental health field.
- Possess experience in working on research projects involving military, veteran, or other vulnerable populations.
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills for high-quality reports and manuscripts.
- Have strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and bibliography packages like Zotero.
- Exhibit excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
