"Research Associate"

Panjab University is recruiting for the position of Research Associate for the project titled "Climate, Health, and Air Monitoring Project". This is a contract position in the Department of Environmental Studies, initially for one year or until the project tenure, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualifications: ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc in Environment Engineering/ Environment Science/ Atmospheric Sciences or an allied discipline from a recognized institution/ University.

Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in Environment/ climate change/ Air pollution & Public Health or 1 year of experience.

Job Description:

• A self-motivated, multi-skilled candidate is sought to join the project with experience in climate change and air pollution studies.
• The candidate should have the ability to converse, make presentations, write academic papers, reports, and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and researchers.
• The candidate is expected to assist with the organization of workshops, meetings, outreach activities, and general management of the project.
• The candidate should have experience in handling large datasets.

Salary: Rs. 45000/- per month (fixed)
