Job Description:

The Philosophy Department at Georg August University Göttingen invites applications for a part-time research assistant position at the Chair of Theoretical Philosophy.

Responsibilities include:

• Participation in teaching (approx. 2 teaching hours per week, in line with LVVO requirements)
• Participation in performance assessments (examiner duties)
• Support in organizing specialist conferences
• Drafting research proposals
• Preparing publications

Candidate Profile:

• Specialization in one or more of the following areas:
• Philosophy of language
• Epistemology
• Philosophy of mind/person
• Husserl in the context of analytical philosophy
• Completed university degree (Master’s, Magister)
• Very good command of written and spoken German and English
• Quality of doctoral project and previous publications
• Teaching experience and didactic skills are advantageous
