Research Associate-Fixed Term
Position Summary
The candidate is expected to 1) design and perform experiments using appropriate advanced biomedical research techniques; 2) Analyze and interpret research data, write research papers, and present research results at meetings; 3) Assist the principal investigator and receive professional training in proposal writing and laboratory management.

Required Degree
Doctorate
Minimum Requirements
Ph.D. in animal breeding and genetics, bioinformatics, quantitative genetics, molecular biology or related areas.
Desired Qualifications
Past experience in analyzing large-scale DNA sequence datasets and phenotype-genotype assocation datasets. Proficient in at least one programming language. Past experience and familiarity with high throughput computing cluster environments. Ability to work independently but also in a team. Strong scientific communication skills.
