Research Associate-Fixed Term
Position Summary
Applicants with a Ph.D. degree in fields related to many-body quantum physics are invited to apply for a postdoctoral research position in the group of Prof. Mohammad Maghrebi in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University. The position is available from September 1, 2025, and is open until filled. The candidates will participate in the theoretical research broadly defined in many-body quantum systems, dynamics, and non-equilibrium phenomena. Experience in computational tensor network techniques as well as background in quantum information science defined broadly is viewed favorably.

Other PhD/postdoctoral positions in the theoretical condensed matter physics at Michigan State University are anticipated during the same period. The successful candidate will be part of a theorical group with at least five faculty working on various aspects of non-equilibrium phenomena.
