"Research Associate"

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate in an ICSSR sponsored research project. The selected candidate may have the opportunity to register in the Ph.D. program as per institute norms. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through hybrid mode after the last date of receiving the applications.

Title of the project: Evaluating Sustainability and Supply Chain Logistics Benefits of Intermodal Railroad Freight Transportation between Gujarat’s Major Seaports and Multimodal Terminals

Duration: Appointment is initially for six months and extendable for another six months.

Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a M-Tech/ME in Mechanical Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Allied branches with B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or allied branches with a minimum of 55% and 2 years of research experience. Qualified GATE/NET is mandatory. Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge of multimodal logistics & simulation.

Fellowship: 47,000/- p.m.
