Job Title: Research Associate-I
Project Title: The science and design of robotic sandworms propulsion of deformable object through particulate media
Employment Type: Temporary
Duration of Appointment:
- Initially for a period of one year (extendable depending on performance)
Minimum Qualification:
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in developing and testing robotic systems, mechanisms, or experimental platforms
- Experience of working with actuators, sensors, embedded systems, and control of robotic platforms
- Experience in conducting laboratory experiments, instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis
- Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, ROS, or similar tools for robotics and experimental control
- Ability to independently design, build, troubleshoot, and iterate on experimental robotic prototypes
Candidates with experience in field experiments, unconventional robotic platforms, or deformable/soft systems are especially encouraged to apply
Job Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
Consolidated Salary: 58000 consolidated (plus HRA as per rule).
