The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. Position Summary: Performance of laboratory procedures, contribute to research design and modification, perform data analysis, interpretation, project management, results summarization, and formal presentations. May participate in the training and supervision of other technical staff.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
- Knowledge of laboratory research principles, scientific methods, and safety practices
- Skill in data collection, analysis, and accurate documentation of research activities
- Ability to interpret results and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats
