Organization Profile: The National Forensic Sciences University with the status of an Institution of National Importance is the world’s first and only University dedicated to Forensic, behavioural, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of India through Act, 2020 (32 of 2020) with the objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against the increasing demand for forensic experts in the country and around the world.

Job Title: Research Associate-III

Project Title: MEMS for Electric Machines and Drives (MEMS Machines)

Department: Department of Electrical Engineering

Essential Qualification:

• Ph. D or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics, Electrical machines and drives from a recognized Indian University/Institute and with at least two research papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal
• Or ME/ M. Tech with 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA and minimum 5 years of research, teaching and design and development experience with at least three research papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualification:

• Proficient in FEM based electromagnetic and coupled circuit simulation.
• Hands on experience in Power Electronic circuit and machine design, analysis, fabrication and testing.
• Sound knowledge of vibration, deformation and acoustic noise analysis. (NVH issues)
• Sound knowledge of open source circuit simulation software like SEQUEL, LT Spice etc.
• Programming knowledge of DSP, PIC or equivalent in FPGA.

Fellowship Amount: Rs.67,000/- consolidated +30% HRA, as per Gol rules.

Duration: 3 months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier, unless notified otherwise by the funding agency.
