Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University is seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Associate to join our newly established AI R&D Laboratory. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge research in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), and Predictive Analytics within a dynamic academic environment.
- Conduct high-impact research in specialized AI domains (NLP, LLM, or Institutional Intelligence).
- Teach one undergraduate or graduate course per semester.
- Supervise/Co-advise at least one graduate (Master's or PhD) student.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to integrate AI models into the Campus Information System (CIS).
- Prepare and submit research grants (TÜBİTAK, Horizon Europe, or any other national or international funding agencies).
- Manage the lab's shared multi-node GPU computing infrastructure, including network topology and system administration.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences or journals.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience in developing LLM-based applications or predictive modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with distributed GPU computing, cluster networking, and server/Linux administration is a plus
Candidates should possess a strong, forward-looking research philosophy focused on significant innovations in artificial intelligence, particularly in the areas of NLP, LLM, and predictive analytics.
