Position Type: Academic Support Staff, Research Associate (full-time, fixed-term)
Appointment Duration: Initially 1 year, renewable up to 3 years depending on performance and funding
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in cellular immunology, molecular biology, and animal models of cancer
- Investigate the role of commensal microbiota in lung cancer
- Assist with manuscript preparation for publication
- Develop critical thinking and experimental skills in host-microbiota interactions and cancer immunology
- Participate in career development and training opportunities
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in relevant fields (e.g., immunology, molecular biology, cancer biology)
- 3–5 years of postdoctoral experience
- Expertise in cellular immunology, molecular biology, and animal cancer models
Preferred/Desirable:
- Experience with host-microbiota interactions in cancer research
