Position Overview
Yale’s Catalysis and Separations Core supports synthetic chemistry research, with an emphasis on homogeneous catalysis. The Core contains advanced instrumentation including:
- UPLC, LC, LCMS, SFC, GC
- EasyMax for parallel reactions
- Solid and liquid dispensers for high-throughput experimentation
- Parallel high-pressure reactors
The Director will:
- Operate and maintain Core instrumentation
- Assist early-career researchers with experiments
- Manage Core budget and user fee structure
Qualifications
- PhD in synthetic organic or inorganic chemistry
- Research experience in homogeneous catalysis
- Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, LCMS, GC)
- Ability to repair and maintain instruments
- Familiarity with data analysis and coding is a plus
