availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of circadian biology, and cardiovascular physiology and pathology. The research associate should have skills in laboratory techniques relating to cell culture, molecular biology, mouse models, and rodent cardiac surgery. For the clinical portion of the work, strong experience in clinical translational research, advanced statistical analytics, omics analyses, wearable device application and data analysis, and statistical programming languages is required. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Responsibilities may include the design and execution of wet lab and animal model experiments in addition to clinical studies and database or biobank research, studying the role molecular clocks play in cardiovascular disease and the effects circadian disruption has on health and patient outcomes. The research associate is also expected to support the lab's work on prostanoid biology. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to support translational studies relating to circadian biology, human circadian and diurnal rhythms, and cardiovascular physiology and disease.
