Research Associate
Position Summary
The Research Associate will support laboratory projects by maintaining mammalian cell lines and applying both experimental and computational techniques to study cellular and receptor behavior.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, culture & maintain mammalian cell lines under sterile conditions
- Perform routine cell culture tasks, including passaging, freezing and thawing
- Monitor cell health. Growth and morphology to ensure experimental readiness
- Apply computational and laboratory-based technologies to model cell and receptor behavior
- Maintain accurate records of cell line usage, conditions, and results
- Collaborate with lab members to ensure smooth workflow and resource sharing
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique required
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
