Job Title: Research Associate (postdoctoral fellow)

Name of the Project: “PrecipCube”: Geospatial satellite observations data cube for precipitation research

Employment Type: Temporary

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. Degree in the relevant area of Civil Engineering / Computer Science Engineering / Geoinformatics / Atmospheric Science / Data Science, with specialization/research experience in the related domain.

Desirable: Candidates with research/industrial experience in the field of computational geospatial data processing will be given an advantage. Expertise in advanced numerical methods for spatial analysis, handling large-scale datasets, and implementing OGC standards/data cube frameworks are highly desirable. Working knowledge in AI/ML for geospatial applications, experience in system integration, automation, and prior experience in geospatial decision-support systems or real-time data platforms are preferable.

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Fellowship: INR 58,000/- per month + 27% HRA (as per DST norms)

Duration: One Year (Initial Contract). Subject to satisfactory performance, the contract can be extended to two more years or till the completion of the project.
