Organization Profile: Central University of Tamil Nadu was established by an Act of Parliament. The University was inaugurated on 30 September 2009 by the then Union Minister Kapil Sibal who laid the foundation stone.

Job Title: Research Associate

Project Title: Youth, Media and Digital Literacy: An Intervention Study addressing Digital Media Influence on Undergraduate College Students in Thiruvarur District

Essential Qualification: M.A Mass Communication / M.Sc. Electronic Media/ or an equivalent degree in the relevant subject obtained from a recognized University/institute with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA with NET/M Phil./ Ph.D. and 2 years research experience as Research Assistant in any Project or work experience in relevant industry/institution.

Desirable: Research experience in the relevant area. Knowledge in video production. Knowledge of Tamil language to work in the project area.

Tenture of Position: Till the availability of funds (Tentatively 29 months)

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 47,000 P.M. (Consolidated)
