Project Title: A Study on Women, Shivashaktis and Jogtas in Yellamma and Other Shakti Traditions of Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka

Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Post-graduate in Social Sciences disciplines (55% minimum) with NET/ M.Phil/ PhD. Verbal and written fluency in Telugu/Kannada/Marathi preferred. Experience in handling qualitative and quantitative data-collection, data-processing, and data-interpretation is essential. Good English language skills required. Technical skills to manage data software. Prior experience in any research project for one year minimum preferred. Candidates must demonstrate willingness to travel as per project requirements.

Location and Terms of Service: Full-time position based in Hyderabad. Term is six months, renewable up to two years based on performance. Employee will be paid a consolidated honorarium of Rs. 47000/- per month. Candidates must reside in Hyderabad and be aged 22-55 years. RA needs to oversee transcription and translation of data.
