Project Title: An attempt to enhance the shelf life of an oocyte to increase the fertilization time window

Desirable Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences. Candidate with the core expertise and experience in Oocyte culturing, chromosome biology, micro manipulation, small and large animal handling is desirable.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years after Ph.D.

Consolidated emoluments: Rs.47000 + 24% HRA per month

Organization Profile: The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), is an autonomous institute established by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India at Hyderabad. NIAB is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenic technology, reproductive technology, diseases, nutritional enrichment, and bioinformatics. The Institute aims at translational research leading to genetic enhancement of Indian Livestock species and basic research towards development of novel vaccines, diagnostics and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals.
