Job Title: Research Associate

Title of the Project: Plant growth-promoting bacteria as bioinoculants for combating drought stress in long bean (Vigna unguiculata ssp. sesquipedalis)

Sponsored By: SERB, Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.

Job Location: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 47,000.00 per month + HRA @ 16 % (or as per Funding agency guidelines)

Qualifications:

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Plant Genomics, Molecular Biology or any relevant discipline suitable to the work proposed in the project.
• Candidates having M.Tech degree (in above mentioned fields) with minimum three year’s research/teaching experience and at least one publication in Science Citation Indexed journal are also eligible.

Duration of the project: Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of project (March 2026).
