We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Research Associate - Youth Endowment Fund. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation and process evaluation strand of a randomised controlled trial of the London Sexual Violence programme, funded by the Youth Endowment Fund.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the trial’s implementation and process evaluation (IPE)
- Liaise with schools and other partners to support the planning, delivery and reporting of the IPE
- Generate and analyse qualitative IPE data
- Lead on the development of reports and publications using the IPE data
- Support the trial manager and project team in the delivery of the quantitative/impact and intervention costing strands of the project
About You
Essential Criteria:
- A good (2:1 or above) undergraduate degree
- Master’s degree in psychology, education, or another relevant discipline
- PhD (completed or submission pending) in psychology, education, or another relevant discipline
- Experience working with young people in (preferably secondary) schools (e.g., as a researcher or practitioner)
- Experience and skills in qualitative data generation (e.g., interviews, focus groups, observations, and creative/participatory methods)
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge and experience of economic evaluation of school-based interventions; relationships and sex education; race, diversity, equity and inclusion; qualitative data generation on sensitive topic areas; and/or co-production/patient and public involvement.
