This position will be a part-time 12-month appointment.
The search for this position will occur during the calendar year 2026. Applicants will be considered for the rank listed above, depending on experience and research productivity. Diversity is highly valued and applications from members of groups underrepresented in nursing are encouraged.
A doctoral degree in health and/or behavioral sciences or a related field is required.
Demonstrated research productivity; the ability to conduct independent research with the promise of developing into an independent scholar.
Peer-reviewed publications.
Participation in relevant academic or professional meetings.
Strong local and growing national scholarly reputation based on research productivity and contributions over several years.
Potential evidence of extramural funding.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to receive and convey information clearly and concisely for various mediums. You will be expected to have solid interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Effective interpersonal skills, and a drive to excel are expected.
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects is required.
