Description of the research activity:
The candidate will carry out methodological and computational research activities in statistics, within an interdisciplinary context. The project involves developing collaborations with researchers from other fields, including applied, scientific-technological, and social science disciplines, as well as with external actors from different sectors (e.g. healthcare, industry, public administration), with the aim of jointly designing innovative methodological solutions for research problems from different domains. Particular attention will be devoted to the analysis and integration of data from heterogeneous sources, with the goal of developing new inferential and computational approaches that can be generalized to different applied contexts. The candidate will actively contribute to defining shared research projects across multiple disciplinary areas, fostering the development of collaborations and the production of joint scientific outputs among groups with complementary expertise.
