Advertised Job Summary
The Research Coordinator will work across the College’s research enterprise to facilitate the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for academic and external clients.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing social media trends and producing professional reports.
- Experience using enterprise social media analytics software (e.g., Quid, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience conducting advanced Boolean searches.
- Understanding of social media and of social media analytics.
- Graphic design background (e.g., Adobe Suite)
- Experience with data science languages (e.g., Python, R)
Job Duties
- Collect, analyze, and report data to produce actionable reports to internal and external lab clients using lab software such as an enterprise social media analytics software in the Social Media Insights Lab (e.g., Sprinklr) or the iMotions Biometrics suite in the Biometrics and User Xperience Lab. (40%)
- Develop and present (in-person and virtually) reports and trainings to university and external clients. (25%)
- Support and assist faculty, students, and clients in using lab resources for their research through one-on-one consultations, training sessions, guest lectures, and the development of online materials. (30%)
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the college including, but not limited to, assisting in planning research events. (5%)
