Research Coordinator
Position Purpose
The Scalable, Accessible Treatments for Eating Disorders and Related Psychopathology (SATED) research team at Dartmouth College is pleased to invite applications to join our exciting and supportive research team in the position of Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator will play a key role in the Eating Disorder Dynamics in Daily Life study. This five-year, NIH-funded trial will use data collected during participants' daily lives to build personalized models to understand eating disorder maintenance over time and prompt patients to use cognitive-behavioral therapy skills when at risk for eating disorder symptoms. The objective of the study is to collect preliminary data to inform the future development of a highly personalized, standalone digital tool targeting key eating disorder maintenance factors.
The Research Coordinator (RC) will be an integral member of the team at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) at Dartmouth College and will work in close collaboration with Dr. Emily Presseller. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Manual of Procedures (MOP)), coordinating participant recruitment and retention, obtaining participant consent, conducting diagnostic interviews, managing data collection, conducting data cleaning quality checks, assisting with data analysis and manuscript preparation, and coordinating overall project operations. The Research Coordinator will work primarily in an office setting in Lebanon, NH.
The successful candidate will excel in communication with study investigators, exhibit strong attention to detail, and possess exemplary organizational skills. The Research Coordinator will work effectively with study leadership and attend and present at meetings. There will be robust opportunities for the Research Coordinator to publish using existing and to-be-collected SATED lab data. This position is an excellent fit for individuals looking to gain experience with clinical populations, large scale federally funded research, and/or digital therapeutics.
