Job Summary
The Research Coordinator conducts independent research and analysis while collaborating with other researchers to advance specific research objectives. This role involves designing experiments, interpreting results, and preparing findings for publication and presentation, thereby contributing significantly to the research field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research projects by designing experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results to advance specific research objectives
- Prepare and present findings through written reports, presentations, and publications in academic journals to contribute to the broader research community
- Mentor and supervise junior researchers and research assistants, providing guidance on research techniques and methodologies
- Stay current with developments in the field by reviewing relevant literature and attending conferences and workshops
- Identify funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of grant applications to secure financial support for research initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of research involving human or animal subjects
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to achieve research objectives and deadlines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate diverse perspectives and expertise into research projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with senior researchers to develop research proposals, methodologies, and project timelines that align with organizational goals
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
