Research and Data Analyst
We are seeking a talented Research & Data Analyst to join the recently formed Education Services Data, Research and Evaluation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to turn complex educational and student-related data into clear insights that shape strategy, policy and service delivery across the collegiate University.
In this role, you will:
- Produce accurate, timely data reports and dashboards for a range of stakeholders.
- Analyse large, complex datasets and national data sources (e.g., UCAS, HESA) to support planning and benchmarking;
- Conduct robust qualitative and quantitative research to inform decision-making and evaluate interventions;
- Present findings clearly to non-specialist audiences, including committees and working groups;
- Support data literacy by delivering training and guidance to colleagues.
About you:
You will bring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams. You will have experience of handling complex datasets, conducting research, and producing high-quality written analysis. Knowledge of GDPR and FOI is essential.
