Research Engineer (Chemical Characterization & Field Studies)

Job Description

The job holders are to work with PI and the research team to operate, maintain high-end and general instrument and field studies to study air quality in urban environment.

Qualifications

One or more of (but not limited to) experiences of the following:

  • Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and data analyses of multiple common (e.g., SMPS, MOUDI, gas analyzers, etc.) and advanced instruments (e.g., ACSM, PTR-MS, etc.)
  • Handling data via R, Python, Matlab, etc.
  • Laboratory (offline) chemical speciation and quantification
  • Proficient in technical presentation, slide making, report writing, etc.
  • Proven rounded and effective team player with strong initiative and ownership of the research project
