JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The research engineer will work with the PI on facilitating the lab's ongoing research projects in the immersive system.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and testing an edge-assisted hardware testbed.
- Integrating our mobile robotic platform for human-centered AR evaluation and multi-camera systems for visual offloading and 3D reconstruction.
- The research engineer will also be expected to assist the PI in preparing preliminary results and manuscript drafts for proposal and paper submissions.
Requirements:
- M.S. in Robotics Engineering or a related engineering/computing field
- Hands-on experience with ROS 2
- Experience developing, integrating, or operating mobile robots, manipulators, or mobile-manipulation systems
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.

Salary is $72,000 depending on experience.
