Research Engineer (Sustainability and Aging of Marine Concrete)
Job Description
The NUS invites applications for a Research Engineer position. The selected individual is required to:
- Prepare marine concrete using sustainable materials
- Design laboratory method to accelerate the aging of concrete in marine conditions
- Design underwater non-destructive testing method to evaluate the concrete properties after aging.
Job Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Has a solid background in laboratory research of sustainable concrete.
- Preferably with a master’s degree in the area of construction materials, concrete, or cement chemistry, etc.
- Prior experience with academic writing and peer-reviewed journal publication is preferred.
- Embrace teamwork
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Open to fixed term contract.
