Organization Profile: The Central Agricultural University has been established by an act of Parliament, the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992). The Act came into effect on 26th January 1993 with the issue of notification by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Govt. of India. The University became functional with the joining of the first Vice-Chancellor on 13th September 1993. The jurisdiction of the University extends to seven North-Eastern Hill States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Tripura, with headquarters at Imphal in Manipur.

Qualifications:

• Research Associate / Team Manager: PhD in Agril Economics/ Agril. Extension/ Agriculture/Rural Development/ Horticulture/ Economics/ Social Science. Desirable: Sound knowledge of computer handling, Working experience in similar nature of job. Job profile: Development of Interview Schedule, Field visit, Literature survey, collection of data, study of methodology, analysis of data, drawing inference, drafting of reports, conduct workshop, coordination with SRF and Field Investigators, Timely submission of reports etc.
• Senior Research Fellow: PG in Agril Economics/ Agril Extension/Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Fisheries/ Veterinary/ Rural Development/ Economies/ Statistics /MBA (Finance/ Marketing) with atleast 55% marks. Desirable: Experience in field works/ data, Working experience in similar nature of job. Job profile: Development of Interview Schedule, Field visit, Literature survey, collection of data, study of methodology, analysis of data, drawing inference, drafting of reports, conduct workshop, writing cases, analysis of data, drafting reports or any other assignment given by the team members.
• Data Entry Operator: MCA/ BE/BSc (Computer Sc, MCA/Statistics or Graduate in Science. Desirable: Proficiency in computer use/ application /graphic design. Job profile: Data entry, organize data in desired format, analysis, presentations, or any other assignment given by the team members.

• Research Associate / Team Manager: Rs. 45,000/-
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000/-
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 25,000/-
• Field Investigator: Rs. 25,000/-
