Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective is to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology.

Job Title: Research Associate-I, Project Associate-I, Laboratory Assistant, Scientific Administrative Assistant, Business Manager, Project Fellow

Employment Type: Temporary

Essential Qualification:

• Research Associate-I: Full time Ph.D in Polymer Science/Technology/Plastics Engineering/Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent with 03 years of relevant experience.
• Project Associate-I: P.G Degree in Professional Courses like M.E/M.Tech. in Polymer Nanotechnology/Polymer Technology/Plastic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Additive Manufacturing or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Bio-Polymer Science with first class in PG degree. NET/GATE qualified candidates preferred.
• Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in science or 3 years Diploma in Plastics Engineering & Technology.
• Scientific Administrative Assistant: Graduate Degree in any discipline with experience in Plastics Recycling.
• Business Manager: Full time MBA in Marketing/Finance from a recognized University with minimum 01 years of post qualification experience in project related work.
• Project Fellow: B.E/B.Tech. in Plastics Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 03 years post qualification experience.

Remuneration: As per latest DST-ANRF norms/guidelines for most positions, and as per Institute norms for Business Manager and Project Fellow.
