Organization Profile: Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) is pursuing research in the area of advanced Semi-conductor Materials and devices. Some of the research areas include development of compounds semi-conductors (bulk crystal and Epi-layer structure), MEMS, MMIC’S, Acoustic Sensor System, laser diodes, IR sensor, Nano-Technology etc. The Laboratory is equipped with state of art material preparation, characterization, device fabrication and circuit design facilities.

Job Title: Research Associate, Junior Research Fellowship

Employment Type: Temporary

Subjects: For Research Associate: Physics/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Quantum Technology/ Laser optics/ Material Science/ Semi-conductor device processing. For Junior Research Fellowship: Physics/ Electronics/ Material Science/ Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics.

Qualification: For Research Associate: Ph.D. or Equivalent degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Opto-electronic/ Semi-conductor processing/ Laser optics/ RF Electronics/ Material Science/ Semi-conductor devices processing/ Quantum Technology. For Junior Research Fellowship: Post-Graduation degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Material Science/ Chemistry/ Opto-electronics/ Semi-conductor processing/ Laser Optics/ RF Electronics/ Semi-conductor devices processing/ Quantum Technology with First division with NET/GATE (Valid).

Tenant: The tenure of Research Associate fellowship will be 02 years fixed. The initial tenure of the Junior Research fellowship will be 02 years and it may be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow as per DRDO guidelines.

Location: SOLID STATE PHYSICS LABORATORY, LUCKNOW ROAD, TIMARPUR, DELHI-110054.

Pay Scale: Research Associate: Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA as per DRDO rules. Junior Research Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA as per DRDO rules.
