Organization Profile: The Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology established in 1984 as an autonomous body is undertaking various activities to promote Science and Technology at the state level.

1. Name of the post: Project Scientist – I

Nature of appointment: Purely temporary

Period of appointment: Initially for a period of one year. Likely to be extended for further period subject to satisfactory performance

Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Registered Patent Agent Knowledge of Tamil

Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- + HRA

2. Name of the post: Project Scientist – II

Nature of appointment: Purely temporary

Period of appointment: Initially for a period of one year. Likely to be extended for further period subject to satisfactory performance

Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent; and Five years’ experience in management of Intellectual Property Rights

Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Registered Patent Agent Knowledge of Tamil

Emoluments: Rs.67,000/- + HRA

3. Name of the post: Project Associate-II

Nature of appointment: Purely temporary

Period of appointment: Initially for a period of one year. Likely to be extended for further period subject to satisfactory performance

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/ M.V.Sc or bachelor’s degree on Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent; and Four years’ experience in Management of Intellectual Property Rights

Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Knowledge of Tamil

Emoluments: Rs.35,000/- + HRA
