We are looking for a research fellow with a strong background in electrochemistry and catalysis to Development and optimization of biomass chemical conversion technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate solvent systems and additives for chemical transformations.
- Conduct high-throughput computational screening to accelerate discovery of candidate molecules for reaction media optimization.
- Investigate interfacial stability, solvation dynamics, and transport properties relevant to biomass-derived feedstocks and catalytic systems.
- Collaborate with synthetic and catalysis teams to validate computational insights through experimental workflows.
- Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers.
- Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
- Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students, fostering an environment of learning and innovation within the project team.
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a closely related field with strong computational and theoretical focus.
- Proven expertise in electrolyte and solvent design, particularly in energy-related systems such as lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries.
- Familiarity with high-throughput simulation workflows and materials discovery pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to design and fabricate device prototypes for innovative applications.
- Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
- Capable of conducting independent research while effectively collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
