Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Independent Research: Plan and execute research projects, perform data analysis, and publish findings in leading journals.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Liaise with stakeholders, contribute to team efforts, and present research outcomes at various forums.
- Lead and Mentor: Supervise research support staff and graduate students and contribute to the department's research programme.
- Engage and Network: Participate in outreach activities, foster collaborations, and present at international conferences.
You will be a great fit if:
You have a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with expertise in photonics computing and optical telecommunications, ready to lead innovative research and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

You may also:
- Be experienced in designing and developing optical experiments.
- Have a proven record of publishing quality research in leading journals.

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
