We are looking for highly motivated researchers with a strong background in social psychology—particularly in areas related to gender—and demonstrated expertise in advanced statistical methods (e.g., multilevel modelling). The successful candidate will work closely with the principal investigator, Dr. Verena Klein, a PhD student, and a team of international collaborators.
The roles will involve designing experiments, contributing to data collection, analysing existing cross-national datasets, writing manuscripts for publication, and presenting findings at academic conferences and other relevant venues.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
A strong track record of conducting high-quality research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for both academic and non-academic audiences
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
Familiarity with research in social psychology of gender and/or cultural psychology
Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques, including multilevel modelling
Interviews will be held shortly after the closing date. The preferred start date is as soon as possible, and no later than 1st September 2025.
Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of research fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of senior research assistant will be given.
