Research Fellow (Microbial Ecology)
Job Description

The incumbent will conduct and coordinate microbial sampling of peat soils and canal waters during field campaigns in Indonesia and Malaysia, oversee laboratory-based molecular analyses, and perform advanced bioinformatic and statistical analyses of microbiome data. Working closely with the PI, Co-PI, and collaborators, the RF will integrate microbial results with biogeochemical, gas flux, and environmental datasets, contribute to cross-work-package synthesis, and lead or co-author peer-reviewed publications arising from the project.
