"Research Fellow (PFAS detection and removal)"

Job Description

The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Research Fellow position in the PFAS detection and removal. The successful applicant will work with Prof Weiyi Pan from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The Research Fellow is expected to:

• Conduct novel and impactful research.
• Assist in the design of and lead experimental activities within the lab.
• Disseminate research findings through publications in high-quality journals and presentations at international conferences.
• Support the supervision and mentoring of graduate students.
• Contribute to proposal writing, teaching, and outreach activities.

Job Requirements

• Possess a PhD in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field.
• Has a strong portfolio of research and publications.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong writing, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
