Job Description

mRNA therapeutics (such as the COVID-19 vaccines) is a highly dynamic and fast moving field. We have developed a generative AI algorithm to optimize the mRNA, and we are looking for an experienced wetlab researcher to test the stability and protein expression of these mRNA.

The successful candidate will work with Dr Boxiang LIU on designing and testing mRNA protein expression under a project on high-throughput testing for full-length mRNA protein expression to design mRNA therapeutics

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• High-throughput experiment for testing mRNA stability and protein expression in vitro
• FACS sorting, NGS, and bioinformatics data analysis
• Assist with the planning and execution of the entire project
• Mentor to Research Assistant when needed

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Biology, Medicine, Chemistry, or related equivalent experience
• Skills: High-throughput experiment (FACS, NGS) and basic bioinformatics analysis.
