Organization Profile: The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani, is an all-India Institute for higher education. In addition to this, BITS has devised innovative schemes to enable professionals-at-large to conduct research at their place of work and simultaneously work for the Ph.D. degree of the Institute.

Research Position: JRF/ Project Associate (Project work into a Ph.D. program)

Title of the project: Integrity assessment of space shells using Artificial Neural Network

This position is applicable only to PhD aspirants. The candidates check the eligibility criteria and qualification process of the Ph.D. program of BITS Pilani (http://www.bitsadmission.com/phmain.aspx).

PhD Registration: The selected candidate needs to register for Ph.D. at the institute as per rules and regulations of BITS-Pilani.

Candidate record: Candidate should have a good academic record. Candidates having good knowledge in Strength of materials and Finite Element Analysis will be given preference. Expertise in programming is also desired. The candidate may have to do numerical studies and experiments as part of the project. Preference will be given to candidates having a Gate score.
