Research Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I (PA)

Title of the project: Autonomous underwater monitoring system for detecting and classifying object by means of computer vision using cooperative cognitive radio network

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualification for JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. Desirable: M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering / IT / Communication / equivalent with Artificial Intelligence / Computer Vision / Acoustic Communication / any other related specialization.
• Qualification for Project Associate-I (PA): Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: M.E. / M.Tech. or B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / IT / Communication / equivalent with Artificial Intelligence / Computer Vision / Acoustic Communication / any other related specialization.

Project Duration: 10 months or till project duration. Whichever is earlier.

Stipend:

• Emoluments for JRF: Consolidated amount of Rs. 37000/- + HRA
• Emoluments for Project Associate – I (PA): a) 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (b) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
